*CRIES*

Here I sit, in English class, trying to concentrate but not really. We are only learning about short story writing, and I am pretty good at that myself anyway. I feel so tired and sore, my ankle is causing me so much pain (it feels like I am being stabbed repeatedly and then set on fire), my head is killing me (I am getting a cold) and none of this is helpful for my situation right now. I'll explain why I feel everything I am feeling.

I am tired because I had a sleepover on Saturday night. It was a studio sleepover, for all the 15 unders at dancing. We stayed up until 4.30am watching dance concert DVD's, practicing dance hair and discussing our upcoming eisteddfod. It was an amazingly fun night. We had pizza, coke, skittles, lollies, tim tams, chips and popcorn. That is why I am tired, well actually exhausted today.

I am sore because I had dancing for 6 hours yesterday. It was exhausting and extremely painful even though I didn't really do all that much (nothing hard out because of my ankle).

My ankle is killing because I danced on it yesterday. I know right, stupid? But I really had to dance! We have an eisteddfod this Thursday to Monday and I REALLY need to practice! GAH! It was stupid but at least I know my dances now, right? :D

Don't even ask why I am getting sick! I am angry and emotional about it! I HAVE AN EISTEDDFOD! PISS OFF! GAH! ANNOYING!

I am leaving cause I am angry and my head hurts from looking at this screen and thinking to much! See ya guys :) xx <3

Dancing Thoughts

I made this in a comment on my friend Liana's blogger account but I thought I might make my own post about it since I was really angry about it.

On Saturday afternoon I had my first netball game EVER! I was petrified because I am really bad at netball (no matter what my height is!). I think I did pretty well... got pulled up for stepping and obstruction twice. I did intercept a few passes, which I was happy with. Anyway to the point, I hurt my ankle! There, that was the main point, I hurt my ankle! I have no idea how, or when but I did.

I had jazz (full on) on Wednesday and we are preparing for our first eisteddfod which is next Friday to Monday (4th-7th May). We are in full rehearsal mode at the moment, working on ONLY dances and stuff, no technique classes. It's crazy mad at dancing at the moment! We have 11 dances, 4 of which are only just, or not even finished yet! It's nuts. So, with my hurt ankle and all I found it really hard to dance. I told my dance teacher and she practically said "You shouldn't be playing netball. If you play again you probably cant do the eisteddfod" I cracked up laughing in her face and was like "hahahaha, I am doing the eisteddfod whether I hurt my ankle or not!!" and walked away. 

From then on I felt like she was targeting me for some reason. If I did something wrong she was on me so quick I couldn't even think. Also, I wasn't doing all the steps properly because I couldn't put so much pressure on my ankle and she would like kill me for it! It was really horrible!

GAH!! So end of story there! My ankle is still killing me! I think I may die! But other then that, I hope everyone is having a great day! I love you all! xoxox

Continue from the Rue Post

Okay, just so everyone knows I am still VERY angry about the whole Rue ordeal... It seriously makes my blood boil!

And I mean seriously?! She is the cutest thing ever!


I think she is the cutest little girl! I came across a few more tweets on my search today that called her a 'black b****' and someone even used the word Nigger! To all these people out there who think Rue was white, or she SHOULDN'T be black or whatever, you can go die! It makes me very mad!



And then if you watched the movie, the whole of District 11 is dark skinned! I even think, (after reading a few things) that Suzanne Collins tried to incorporate black slavery into her story. By making District 11 dark skinned and they are one of the more 'strict' districts. Whippings, hard labor, deaths. It all connects to what our world used to be like. It's so sad that people say stuff like this.



I will leave now before I start rambling and not making ANY sense... not that I really have anyway... so I'll leave before confusing you even more! Just know that I am angry and upset and in my emotional state right now I am crying!

My Weekend

Hello my dear, dear followers! *waves* I thought I would tell you about my weekend as I do not have any juicy topics to ask advice for, and then not get an answer! *glares at you all*

FRIDAY NIGHT

 Every Friday (except for the holidays) I go to a Youth Group! Youth is amazing! You meet new people and learn SO much from them. It's a Christian youth so you learn heaps of stuff about God and religion and yourself to. I am not a baptized Christian, but if I was to choose a religion to be baptized into it you most definitely be Christian. So, on Friday it was one of our "on site" nights. Which practically means that we do activities and sing and stuff AT the church (it's not really a church more a big room). The singing is fun, it's not like "Hallelujah praise the Lord in Heaven" psalm stuff, it's more... ROCK! I know cool right. And last Friday in particular our Pastor brought in a bow and arrow, I completely did  a flip, because I love Hunger Games and Katniss has a bow and arrow. Anyway, we discussed distractions that we will face now, and in life in general and then what we need to concentrate on. It was very eye opening you could say. It made me realize that if I want to get anywhere in my schooling and my life, that is what I need to concentrate on rather then other things, e.g. One Direction, Niall *dreamy face*, Fiyero shirtless *drooling*, worrying about people forgetting me *hint* twitter *hint*, Peeta *spazz*, Hunger Games etc. So I thought I would just share that.

SATURDAY!

 My Saturdays are getting more and more hectic! It's actually quite amazing! In the morning I got a bit of a sleep in (until 8) because I didn't have work *fist pump*. Then I had to go with my mother and sister to netball, because my sister has training before her game. In the meantime my father is taking my other sister to dancing and then going to Footy with my two brothers. So we stay at the netball courts for about 45 minutes before we have to drop me off at dancing. We get to dancing and mother has to pick my sister that was at dancing up early, to take her to Netball. 

I am at dancing, dying, because it's so hot, not eating anything, cause we couldn't, and dying. My sisters are playing netball and training whilst I am at dancing. At 1.45 I finish dancing and we get an hour break while some girls do their private lessons (sisters still playing netball). Our singing teach (for dancing, we do a song and dance) is late so we start at around 2.40pm and that makes our dance teachers angry. At 2.55pm my mother comes to pick me up for netball and I just about get kicked out of dancing because I am leaving early, even though we told Carlie (my dance teacher) that we were leaving.

 I get to Netball just in time for the game to start at 3.20pm and I get put on as Goal Shooter for the first half (which is dreadful... I never got passed the ball) then in the 3rd quarter I get put as Goal Keeper, which is about 10x better because I am really tall and great at defending! I get the last quarter off, which is good and bad. Good because I get the las quarter off and bad because my friends whole family (5 kids {a baby and a two year old}, their mum {with a broken leg}, and their dad). 

After netball finished we played around for a while (my family and my friends family) and because the mum is a netball couch she got Bree to do some drills with me to help me out a bit. It was actually pretty great! But, as you can see my Saturdays are CRAZY!!

SUNDAY

Sunday, also known as my lazy day. And it sorta almost was. I got up, relaxed for about an hour and then had to go chocolate selling around our neighborhood. Always a fun experience! We managed to sell a box! After that we went to the same friend as before, house. That was eventful. Activities included, dancing, writing a movie script, auditioning our sisters, sitting/lying on roofs, holding a baby, jumping on the trampoline, and being cool. We were their for 5 hours.

MONDAY

Our school got the day off on Monday because one of our teachers had a heart attack and passed away and the funeral was on Monday. I didn't go to the funeral because I don't think I could manage it. SO I stayed home and my mother and I watched about 7 episodes of Bones season 7! Then I went on the Sims 3. The most horrendable thing happened in my game. My beloved, beautiful male Sim, got hit by a STUPID FREAKING METEOR! Who the freak does that?! I DON'T KNOW! Very angry. Kill game. Die.

That concludes my little weekend rant! :D

Pottermore.

Today, I decided to randomly check Pottermore, to see if it was finally open to the public and not just the people who got the beta! And it was. Now don't hold me on when, because I haven't checked in AGES, but I was so excited cause I got to choose my wand and house again! Oh, I got in for the beta by the way.

The first time I signed up to Pottermore, I got into Hufflepuff. The puffs are my second favourite house and all but I REALLY wanted to get into Slytherin. But you know, I was happy! :D

Now, this time I got larch with dragon core wand, 13 inches and slightly springy. Which is awesome! And then I got to the sorting hat quiz and I did everything truthfully, not try to get into a specific house or anything, but I GOT INTO SLYTHERIN!

So, I am just about the happiest person in the world at this moment! For some of you, you might know what I mean right now *cough* Carlie *cough*. If anyone has a Pottermore account please add me on my new account!

Rue - Hunger Games

I was looking for pictures of little Rue for my last post and I came across some of the most racist, horrible tweets I have seen in my life!







These are just some of over 50 different tweets of Rue's skin colour! I can not believe the ignorance and racism people can obtain! It makes me so mad that people would hate on Hunger Games or even the actress or the character because she is black! My favourite tweet would be this:



I just can't believe it! Now if you have read the Hunger Games, it specifically states that Rue has 'dark brown skin and hair' and yet people don't know this? I guess this is a good example for Carlie's (vinkunwildflowerqueen) post about fans. If you are such a 'big' fan of the Hunger Games, book and movie included, then why do you hate on the actress and character because of their skin colour? And if you are that big of a fan that you have read the book *insert no. of times* then why do you not know?

Some people are deceived by the fact that Katniss sees Prim in Rue. This makes everyone automatically think that Rue is going to look like Prim. They toss aside any information on what Rue actually looks like and just focuses on that one fact.

When I read the book and pictured little Rue, I took in all the information I was presented with and made the character in my head. I pictured Rue, dark skinned, dark hair and brown eyes, her height/looks and demeanor like Prim. Not everything about her!

I just thought I would share that with everyone, because I found it so outrageous and just utterly terrible! Please tell me your thoughts! Julia, you would be an amazing person for me to talk to about this!

Woah, today is a day where I don't really have anything all that interesting to say. And that doesn't come often! So, I thought, cause I have for the last for ever, I will have to make a post. So here I am. :)

Tomorrow is my cross country for school... Yay...not.... I have planned to get heaps of lollies and drinks!

I am also about 1/10 the way through the Hunger Games for the second time! I have read the first two books twice now and I plan on starting them again. For some reason I really love reading them. Each time I read them there is something new and interesting to think about. Or something different to pick up in it. It just never gets boring!

Another thing with the Hunger Games. I would like to get everyones opinions on their teams! So for example I am on team Peeta, team Clove and team Rue. For anyone who has seen the movies or read the books (if not do it NOW!), who are your favourite characters? (I love Primrose too).

So, yeah :D

Another post is shortly coming! I just found out something really sad and horrible! In the mean time, something to make you laugh!

You should still totally get me that program. I would be able to find a way to pay you eventually... even if it takes a little while. AND I would most definitely find away to get that thing off you! I am dead to myself

On Monday night I was at dancing from 6.30 until about 9.20 and I missed the Voice.

My father comes and picks me up from dancing and this is how our conversation went:

Dad: Aw, Shauna, you will definitely want to see The Voice tonight!

Me: Why?

Dad: Laura Bunting is on it.

Me: Who?

Dad: Laura BUNTING.

Me: I know that name...

Dad: So you should!

Me: Where is she from?

Dad: You should know that

Me: JUST TELL ME!

Dad: you are dead to me...

Me: WHAT!?

Dad: I can't believe you didn't know what Elphaba she played, and where, and how many shows, and who with.

Me: Oh shit... *everything clicks* AHH! ITS HER!

Dad: you are so dead to me. I am going to go on twitter and tell all your little friend people and they are gonna hate you!

Me: *fake crying* my life is over!

Anyway, I forgot who Laura Bunting was! I seriously still can't believe it!! And I still facepalm or bang my head into something occasionally when I remember! To make it worse, my friends went with school to see Wicked last year, a week after I did. They would have gotten Laura because they went to the matinée show, and Jemma let Laura do the matinées! I talked to them for AGES about her.

OH MY OZ! I have been completely STUPID and idiotic!! I have only just realized that there is ONE of my twitter girls who I don't occasionally mention... NO there are two!! And I suddenly feel horrible!!!!

One of them is Hollie!!!! HOLLIE! I can't believe I have let her escape my mind for SO long! And honey, if you read this I am incredibly sorry and I feel absolutely awful!!
