Dance Eisteddfod :(

That was an eventful weekend....

I am dead! Completely and utterly dead!

After school on Friday me and Bree caught the train into somewhere *evil giggle* and went to ICTDF. We ended up watching our sisters dance 3 times, which was great, they are PRETTY good :D Then I decided I wanted to go on Saturday as well! I missed one dance because I didn't wake up early enough! I was there from about 10am to 10pm. It went crazily late but t was fun!! I got to look after Bree's baby brother beau whom I love very very much.

Sunday rolled around and that meant it was my dancing! It was awesome! We only had 15 and unders which was... thank OZ! So I had 5 dances. We arrived at 7.30ish and would arrive home after everything at about 9.30pm. We actually got a mention with our street tap, Jump n Move, we got Highly Commended. Which is alright considering that there was only 2 HC and a 1st given out.

Yesterday was 20's, which I am in too! So I had 6 dances. I ended up smashing my knee in Pacman (contemporary) and it kills to walk or to even put pressure on it. We didn't get any places or anything yesterday. Which was sad, although our acro group got 3rd! Which was VERY exciting for all of us!

The adjudicator was such a loser! She had no idea about Hip Hope, Tap or contemporary to judge them properly! I mean the tap that won our section were doing hit springs and really strong arms and they WON!! It's crazy I say! The people who placed in our Hip Hop section weren't any better, they were doing jazz with some popping and they won! Ours was actually hip hop! She has no idea about modern dancing. She is old, which probably means that she is old school.... GAH! Oh well! We can only do better next time and hope for the best!

Moral: I am dead! SO completely dead! My muscles are hurting, my bruises are killing. My knee hurts so much, my head aches and I am getting a cold. The adjudicator is a loser, we have improved and I can't wait for next eisteddfod.

 I would have written more but I really am not in the head space to be thinking about what to write so much right now!
